    AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Within easy walking distance of downtown Denver's financial district and tourist attractions, this hotel attracts business travelers during the week and vacationers on weekends. Decor pays homage to the region's history and natural beauty, from the 20-foot sandstone fireplace in the dignified lobby to the 1876 restaurant and bar, named for the year Colorado achieved statehood.

Amenity highlights: Guests grab their morning Starbucks coffee at Mugs, sip evening cocktails at the Fireside Terrace, and exercise in the complimentary rooftop health club, which features a pool and spa, sundeck, fitness center, tennis court, and running track.

Inside, steps to the top of the rotunda lead to views of the Rockies stretching from Pikes Peak to the Wyoming border. Nameplates identify the visible peaks on this 150-mile span.
