Driving directions from Denver International Airport: Exit the airport on Pena Blvd and continue south for about 10 miles. Take Exit 1A / I-70. Proceed west on I-70. Take Exit 276B / Colorado Blvd. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Colorado Blvd and proceed south for about two miles to 17th Ave. Turn right onto 17th Ave and proceed west for 2.5 miles. When 17th Ave crosses York St, it becomes 18th Ave. Continue heading west on 18th Ave to Tremont St. Veer left onto Tremont St, and hotel is immediately on left.

Getting around: Many attractions are within several blocks of the hotel, so walking is a popular way of getting around downtown. One block away is the 16th Street Mall, which offers a courtesy shuttle called the Free Mile Ride that runs through downtown. Guests frequently use taxis, which hotel staff can hail from the adjacent taxi stand. Guests who plan extensive local travel or sightseeing should consider renting a car, which is the most convenient way of getting around. Two blocks from the hotel is an RTD bus stop, where guests can catch buses that connect to much of the city.

Churchill Bar - Located just off the atrium and across from the Palace Arms, this cigar bar is a quiet hideaway with red-leather wingback chairs and sofa, a library, and premium spirits, including single-malt scotches and small-batch bourbons. Lunch and hors d'oeuvres are also served.

Ship Tavern - Lunch and dinner are served at this casual restaurant and bar, which evokes early American waterfront taverns, with its crow's nest in the center of the room, model Clipper ships, and nautical decor. Onion soup, prime rib, seafood, signature beers, and the nightly cabaret are highlights.

Ellyngton's - The hotel's main dining room—a curved room with windows overlooking Denver's financial district—serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is known locally as the place where power brokers make deals. Advance reservations are recommended for the Sunday champagne brunch, which features a breakfast buffet, cold selections, carved meats and fish, an assortment of fresh pastries, and three kinds of bubbly.
